Well, here it is. Chapter Four, YAY! Well anyways, hope you like it, I really wanted to write another one!

Disclaimer: I don't own Soul Eater or it's characters.

Alex stared at the photo's his grandfather had given him. They were old and fragile in his rough hands. He'd received these photos ten years ago when he was six years old. He was sixteen now, and his mother, Maka, told him the real reason she left home on his fifteenth birthday. He told her that he didn't want a present, but to be able to ask her fifteen questions, and for her to answer completely truthfully. He remembered it word for word.

----(Flashback)----

Alex walked into the kitchen where his mother was doing dishes. "M-mom?" Alex asked walking over to her. "Hmm? Yes, what is it Alex?" Maka (his mother) asked smiling at him. He always loved her smile, it comforted him, even where they lived, a complete gang and mafia ridden ghetto. "I decided I don't want a present for my birthday this year." He said trying to sound like a man. "Oh? Well then, what do you want?" His mother asked cocking a head to one side. "I-I want fifteen questions." He said looking her in the eyes. "Hmm? Fifteen questions? Well okay then." She said smiling at him. "But, you have to answer them all truthfully, and no dodging the question, no matter what it may be." He said sternly. "Of course, I'll answer all fifteen questions with a truthful answer. Now go ahead and ask them." She said nodding. "Okay then. Here goes nothing..." He said taking a deep breath.

"Q-question one: What is mt real dad's full name?" Alex asked looking her in the eyes. Maka looked away and sighed as she felt tears form in her eyes. She quickly blinked them away and looked back at her teenage son. "S-Soul Eater E-Evans...." She said looking at the floor. "Okay then, next question..." Alex said nodding. "Question two: Did you love him?" Alex asked shakily. "Y-yes... I-I did back then, but that was when I was still young and reckless." His mother said letting out a shaky breath. "Oh... Okay then, moving on. Next question." Alex said nodding. "Go ahead Alex." Maka said smiling warmly at him. "Okay then. Question three: D-did you want me when you first found out about me?" Alex asked looking at the ground. Maka eyes widened in shock. She pulled Alex to her and hugged him tightly. "Of course Alex! I loved you from the second Professor Stein told me you were there...!" She said kissing his head. "Hn. Thanks mom, I loved you from the second I started loving people." Alex said with a smirk. "Okay, next one." Alex said stepping back. "Question five: How old are you and why won't chicks tell you how old they ate?" He said suspiciously. Maka knew this was a real question, Alex never understood why girls always said 'it's a secret' when he asked them their age. "I'm thrifty-one, and girls don't like to tell their ages because we don't like to get or feel old, so we keep our ages secret and when we get older, wear a butt load of make-up." Maka said smirking. "But your not old, you'r only thirty-one, your still young. Besides, you look twenty-one." Alex said smiling at his mother. "Question six: Do you REALLY hate grandpa?" Alex asked curiously. "No, not anymore. I used to think I did but I've realized how much he'd really do for me and how much he really loves me. And the three of his grandchildren." She said with a smirk. "Question seven: Will I ever meet my dad?" Alex asked looking at her. "Maybe and probably." She said shrugging. "Question eight: Have you kept tabs on Soul 'Eater'?" Alex asked casually. "No, not really. I don't really care what he's done with his life just like he doesn't care what's happened with mine." Maka said shaking her head. "Okay. Question nine: why did you REALLY leave home?" Alex said staring at her sternly. she sighed. "I guess I knew the day would come when you'd ask this, I just never really wanted to prepare myself...." She said sighing. "Well, tell me." Alex said looking at her. "Well....."She started.

---(Flashback End)---

He glared down at the one of his 'father' and his mother. They were younger than him in it. Just around thirteen or fourteen. And it made him sick. This man. This dude that looked just fucking like him, was SO damn different than him. HE, was death scythe. HE, was the one that caused his mother so much pain. HE, was the one that replaced his mother with some fake, bleached blonde, bitch. He, was his father. But Alex, he was a just a normal black and white scythe. Alex was the one that told his mama it was alright when she cried, and said that he loved her even when she was convinced nobody did. Alex was the one that never abandon his mom, Ribber, or his little sisters. Alex was his son.

His mother told him that they were all going to Death city to get away from here. They were going back to fucking live there. And he was far from thrilled, in fact, he was pissed. And pissed big time.

Well, hope you liked it! I stayed up REALLY late writing it, but screw sleep I'm writing another chapter!
