What would be your reaction if SEGA stopped producing Sonic games, shows,and comics? Why?

I, uh... I'm just gonna answer the top thing if that's okay.

I would be disappointed if a franchise I've known for so long like this would go down the drain, but I think I'd get by. It will happen one day, but I'll stay on this roller coaster no matter how rusty or broken down it may be.

If the Archie comics ended I would be happy to an extent. The retcon has caused more issues than corrections, which has led to a vast many of fans to leave. Being done with it would at least mean that the original comics wouldn't have to endure the disrespect of the retcon anymore.

The only show so far is Boom which needs to be done away with as it represents just about everything wrong with Sonic. Time needs to be put into fixing or creating quality work, not creating new gimmick after new gimmick.

As for the games, I suppose that is where I am most hesitant. If all of this were temporary till things were fixed, I'd be all for it, but while the franchise is in a large disarray, it ending is not something I'd enjoy.

Thank goodness for critical fans. Without critical fans and thought we cannot achieve quality. As for selfish and greedy, well that's another story.

I believe our input has affected SEGA somewhat in the sense of minor changes like Super Sonic coming back, but on the large scale, NO.

I will not claim or guess what they are doing with our feedback and how much they are watching, but I do know that they are not applying it.

I think that until SEGA stops trying to change directions from one thing to the next without slowing down and sticking to something, they, and SEGA USA, are simply feeding the fan issue by making more sub-fandoms to complain.

In your opinion these things are "not that bad" but the fact is that a lot of these products leave a lot to be desired. They could and should be more. Sonic Boom is the same as Ultimate Spider-man: taking a character with deep and interesting stories, and turning it into something with minor intelligence and a focus on "FOR THE KIDS" without realizing that kids are complaining about how dumbed-down it is.

Honestly it would be like how Capcom is treating MegaMan. The creator of Sonic would have to break away and make his own fan support ran business like Infune is doing. And become successful that way.

I would be very sad, hell even this video I embed would be my reaction to that, because I've been a huge fan of Sonic, it's one of my favorite gaming series next to Super Mario. :( (sigh) At least they have no plans to ditch Sonic from home consoles which is a great thing, and I really hope they make a Sonic game with it's game-play more Adventure based, and also include more playable characters besides Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Amy, Shadow, Rouge and Dr. Eggman, like Blaze and Silver, but of course, make sure it's not like the infamous Sonic 2006 or Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric.

I know some people will say," I'll go to SEGA and kill them unless they make more Sonic games and if they don't I WILL DIE!", what I said would say be," I actually saw this coming because Sonic won't be around forever and i had a lot of great memories playing Sonic." But the people say they cant live without Sonic I'm just like really? You can live without him
