Sonic the Hedgehog Question

What is up with all the Sonic hate?

People seem to be complaining about the new games after Shadow the Hedgehog. I don't think Sonic and the Secret Rings was too bad, but they keep calling them "Sonic crap". Was' up? Even some people think that Sonic is crappy period and think that Mario's better. I think both of them are a good franchise, but Sonic's better. Haven't played Mario in a while.

that's funny. i use to hate Sonic too until my best friend, Jessi (we all know her as Jessig), got me obsessed about a year ago. then i found out about the comics, told her about them, and we just got hooked baby:p

Yeah, Sonic Gen wasn't too good. I could see that it wasn't successful.

In my opinion, one of the best villains of all time came from a 'flopped' game: Mephiles the Dark from that '06 Sonic game... I forget the title...

i personally hate Mario and his games. i like the Sonic games far better. but i have to say i like the comics the most. i'm not saying the games are bad. i actually think they're pretty fun (except the part where i can't get freakin' Sonic to run straight and i hit walls). i'm just more of a Sonic Comic fan than a Sonic game fan

Right? I have been practically raised by Sonic (and Disney) and have been loyal to him for twelve years now! Over 95% of my videogame devotion belongs to him. But if you havent realized all those who say that Sonic sucks are those who are Mario fans...everyone knows about the rivalry between Mario and Sonic. I hope that helped.
