What would you do if SEGA wanted to kill off all Sonic characters and replace them with new characters?

hunt them down and kill them.

You know...I think I might be sad for maybe a couple of days and then get over it. New characters might be the thing to do; they keep on adding more who have absolutely no originality. It would probably work if they just started off with a new sheet of paper and do up a new character, story, setting. I mean, Sonic has been my friend for as long as I can remember, but ever since Yuji Naka left, it completely went downhill. Sonic will ALWAYS BE THE FASTEST THING EVAH (no matter what Shadow, Silver or the tech guy at Microsoft saying that Vista's internet connection is the fastest). But I think it might be time to move on.
