Unless this has already been talked about, I'd like to point out why I dont agree with it:

I mean if u can't come up with BETTER powers then ok, it's fine. But...to have ur character posses the same power as an official character, such as: Speed like Sonic or fire like Blaze seems wrong. That power has already been done and used by SEGA on their characters, and I don't THINK u should steal or copy that and give ur character their power. Seems like...Uh...Power Theft? Not sure but it don't seem right. Anyone know where I'm coming from with this?

NyoHetaliaCreed I don't mind people using abilities already used in the Sonic franchise, as long as it's done in a way so it doesn't steal that canon character's thunder (such as a fan character who is faster than Sonic) or it's original, different and/or well-thought out enough or something for me to ignore the fact they're using an common super-ability. (for example, ice-powers are used A LOT with Sonic FCs, but I tried to make Hailstone different by her not naturally having these powers and instead uses technology. Other made-up-on-the-spot examples: A pyrokinetic FC who carries matches or a lighter to give him access to his fire powers since he can't generate his own fire like Blaze can. Or a FC who can't run as fast as Sonic, but still runs at speeds considered unnatural but can only do so for short distances. These ideas can be borrowed, I'm not stopping anybody!)

ShadowFan100 @ Nyo: I agree...and the way u explained it does make sense. And well..that's ok with me, it's just that: it didn't seem right u know? But yeah I know what u mean. One of mine has I've powers. Another has electricity and then one has ghost. What I was getting at is to try and be as creative as possible. If u do that, then cool

MephilesTheDark I think having the same power in a FC as an OC is fine. I mean, it's unoriginal and annoying as fuck, but whatever.
