I liked Vivian at first. I thought that her shyness made her a very cute and relatable character. I'm sure many of us can relate to being thrown out of our comfort zones in certain situations. Seeing her present in front of the entire class with that big smile on her face was really satisfying! However, I feel like we don't get to see much of that in her later appearances. There's a lot that could have been explored in the latest episode but instead they brush her behaviors off as being "selfish" and "a terrible friend." We don't really see much of the original shy, insecure Vivian. Getting over shyness takes loads of confidence and persistence, not just one presentation with your best friend.
