Slytherins aren't evil, per se. They're known for being ambitious and cunning, sneaky as a fox and flexible as a snake. Generally, people will assume those are "evil" traits. Not ALL Slytherins were Death Eaters either, just a majority of them came from Death Eater families/families that supported the Dark Lord. Most Slytherins are pureblood, and therefore elitist, believing "Mudbloods" and "Muggles" are inferior and should bow down to them. I'm very sure there are some Ravenclaws, Hufflepuffs, and Gryffindors that feel the same way. I mean, Dumbledore was a Gryffindor, and he felt, when he was younger, that wizards were superior to Muggles. He planned with Grindelwald "for the greater good". I don't know of any specific examples of Ravenclaws or Hufflepuffs that thought along this way, but it's likely there were at least one or two.
