Singing Question

Would you let someone you hate make you never want to sing again because of their feedback?

I've always gotten good feedback for my dancing and singing and drawing from my friends and my enimie's or how ever u spell that word but my "friend" (She's terrible and my bff told me shes jelouse of me because we all pretend to be her friend) sais im the worst singer dancer artist etc. shes ever known about but she never says it to my face she saism it to my earlier stated bff.

Well I've had several people tell me I can't sing- one of my friends is really stuck up and tells me I can't sing as well as her (we're about equal tbh), and most of the people who I don't get on with have told me I can't sing, but the only one who made me want to stop singing was a teacher who said "your voice has a nice quality but maybe not for singing. Have you tried acting?". I sing in a choir, so I ignored him (I already do acting anyway) and I think I'm actually an alright singer. So don't worry about what your 'friends' say. If you enjoy singing and think you're good at it then carry on!
