Morning suddenly arrived. Things seemed to be returning to normal for everyone, but when Kaede and the others went to school things would start to get totally crazy…
“Pictures?” Kaede asked. Mayumi smiled while nodding. She grabbed the photos from a pocket in her school case and slammed them on the desk. “I should warn you; these photos are going to wow you.” As the four girls picked each of the photos, their expressions shifted. “It’s-It’s-It’s him!” Kaede said in her mind. Sia and Nerine were in total shock as well. They didn’t know what to think. “Snap out of it guys.” Mayumi said while waving her hand in front of their faces. They all snapped after she did that. “Surprised huh?” The three girls nodded at the same time. Their biggest concern was that Kasey was the one who was in the photos. It wasn’t just an average dinosaur. How would they tell him? Can he ever trust them with keeping his powers a secret? Only time would tell. As the three girls were thinking, Mayumi tried to get Rin’s attention. “I’m telling you Rin, these pictures prove that I am right. Real monsters are out there and I am the first person in the world to see one. Shouldn’t you be surprised?” Rin looked at her and sighed. “It was probably just a hoax.” Mayumi’s expression changed after he said that. “What did you say???” Rin wasn’t scared of Mayumi’s reaction. “I’m telling you Mayumi, it’s probably just a hoax. It may have looked real but it’s probably something else.” She suddenly turned from anger to rage. “You’re such a jerk Rin!!!” Kaede and the others wanted to defend him but they didn’t want to get in the middle. The whole class watched as Mayumi threw her temper tantrum at him. They all gathered and wanted to know what was going on. That was when she spilled the beans and showed them the photos. Everyone went crazy after seeing them and a lot of them wanted to go and find the dinosaur as well. It was a really, really big turn around for everyone including Rin, Kaede, Sia, and Nerine.
School has just ended. Rin, Kaede, Sia, and Nerine all left the classroom. When they made it out of the school, they noticed Itstuki standing near the front gate. Itsuki is a friend of Rin as well as the girls. He is best known for talking about girls and females which he is all about. “Hey guys,” Itstuki said while turning around. “I’ve heard the news about the photos and the creature. Aren’t you a scared?” Rin’s expression formed into a little annoyance. “Why would I be scared of a couple of photos?” Itstuki laughed. “Don’t you even know? That thing is real and it’s out there somewhere. I wouldn’t be surprised if it came after you.” Rin was starting to get really ticked off. “Listen! Those photos were a fake okay?? Do you expect me to believe that there is a living creature like that out in this city? Do you???” With a little chuckle, Itstuki walked closer to him and to the girls. “Fine, have it your way Rin. But I have one little request to ask.” His left arm went around Rin’s shoulder. “If you are attacked by this thing, may I take over in watching Kaede, Nerine, Sia, and Primula?” With anger, Rin shoved his arm away. “Forget it Itsuki! It’s not going to happen. That thing is a hoax and we all should know it by now. Now drop it.” He along with the girls walked past him. Itsuki turned and gave a little grin. “We’ll see if you’re telling the truth..”
As the afternoon turned into evening, Kaede and Primula were in the kitchen cooking. Kasey meanwhile was busy helping out too by getting the table ready. Every minute, Kaede would stare at Kasey with a sad expression. Primula noticed this and asked her what was wrong. She shook her head two times and smiled while shutting her eyes. “I’m fine Rimu, really I am. I am just feeling a little off tonight.” Primula wasn’t sure of how truthful she was but she had to accept it anyway. Just before dinner was finally done, the doorbell rung. “I’ll get it.” Kasey said while jumping down from the table and making his way to the door. As soon as he answered it, he was surprised to see Sia, Nerine, Rin, Asa, and Sia and Nerine’s fathers. “What’s going on?” He asked. “We’re just here to eat with you guys. What else is there to know?” Asa said while giggling. He smiled and invited them in. Kaede and Primula were surprised to see everyone. “This is a real special surprise,” Kaede said with a bright smile. “But why are you all here?” That was when Sia’s dad tried to explain the whole situation but he barely got say the first word when Sia took him down. “I told you to wait until the right time! Geez!” Kasey looked at Sia with a little confusion. “What is going on? Seriously. Did something happen?” A dreaded silence filled the room as everyone was looking at each other and then back at him. He really was skeptic about what was the deal. “Come on you guys. Tell me now.” Kaede explained everything to him- about Mayumi, the photos she took of him out in the park yesterday, and she showed them to all of the students in school. Afraid of how he would react, she started to cry. Kasey looked at her with sadness. “Kaede, I am not mad about this,” He said while walking to her and putting his cat paws on her shoe. “I really am not angry about this at all. I kind of had a feeling someone who would be sneaking around trying to uncover my secrets. It’s not like it’s a chaotic issue.” Everyone looked at him with surprise. “You don’t care if anyone uncovers the secrets to your powers?” Nerine asked. “That’s just despicable!” Sia’s father exclaimed. “I don’t think anyone has the right to barge into his life and figure out what is and what is not there!” Nerine’s father was skeptic about it too. “I can understand that, but what are we going to do?” Rin soon had an explanation. “We must work together to keep his secret a secret- no matter what.” Everyone was impressed with his theory and decided to stick with it. They all turned to Kasey while saying together, “We will help you and keep your powers a secret.” Kasey smiled and nodded. “Thank you all very much,” He said. “You all are such good people and great friends.” With that problem being out of the way, everyone stayed and enjoyed a really nice dinner. It turned out to be quite a good night after all.
After everyone left, Primula was upstairs taking a bath while Kaede started cleaning the kitchen and the dinner table. Once she was done, Primula was already through with her shower and decided to head for bed. They said their goodnights to each other and Primula closed the door. Kaede sighed while forming a little smile. “It seems like everything is returning to normal around here, for now anyway.” Just as she was about to go up the stairs she noticed the sliding door was opened. She slowly walked to it hoping to not find anyone or anything that had come inside. Surely enough, she saw Kasey lying on the ground while looking up at the night sky. She didn’t want to interrupt his moment but had no choice. She gave a little cough which startled him at first but realizing it was her he relaxed. “What are you doing out here?” Kaede asked while sitting next to him. He didn’t respond quickly but looked at the sky which was covered with lots of stars. “Kasey, are you feeling alright? You know you can tell me the truth.” He slowly got up and sat. “May I tell you something?” He asked. She nodded. “It’s not the first time anyone has discovered my powers. Many other people know about them. But I only tell certain people because I can trust them. And even if they take a couple of pictures of my powers, it’s not like havoc will come around.” He turned his head to Kaede which formed a little sadness. “I just don’t want you or anyone else to worry about me. Do you understand?” Kaede’s face formed into a little more sadness. “Oh Kasey,” She said while hugging him. “I am not going to tell Mayumi or anyone else about you and your powers. I won’t! I swear I won’t!” Kasey at first was shocked by what she said, but his reaction soon changed into a little smile and hugged her too with his paws. “Thank you Kaede…” Looking through a window was Primula. She watched the whole thing from her bedroom and didn’t feel no emotion. Although it did trouble her that Kasey would have to reveal himself and his powers if it was all out into the public. As Kaede exclaimed, she will do whatever she can to make sure he lives in a safe environment with no issues or problems.

Did she overhear everything Kaede and I talked about last night?” Though her reaction didn’t change, she continued petting him. That was when Kasey’s mind figured out what the deal was- it turned out she did hear everything last night. Kasey looked at her with a concern expression. “We better hurry up and eat or we’ll be late.” Kaede said while brining breakfast to the table. Primula allowed Kasey to go and the three ate together. “Take care of the house,” Kaede said while putting her school shoes on. “We won’t be late. Promise.” Kasey nodded and Kaede closed the door. With a little sigh, she turned and started walking along with Primula. As they were walking through the streets, they met up with Rin and Asa. “Good morning guys!” Asa exclaimed with happiness. “Good morning to you too Asa,” Kaede said while giggling. “And good morning to you Rin.” Rin said his good mornings as well. “So how is Kasey doing? Is he taking everything normally?” Asa asked. Kaede explained that he was doing fine, but looked as if he was at lease “a little” concerned. Asa and Rin felt bad for him. “We really should do something about it. Don’t you agree Rin?” Rin agreed, but there was just one question- “What do we have to do?” That was when Kaede explained what she promised to him. “Keep his powers a secret? I am not sure about that.” Asa said with a worried look. Kaede wanted to know why it wasn’t a good idea. That was when she explained about Karhea, her best friend, who like Mayumi also likes to spread a little joyful news around. Sense mentioning her name, Kaede’s expression shifted and knew now why it wasn’t a good idea. “But I swore I wouldn’t tell anyone,” She said. “I did promise him I wouldn’t. No matter how many people pressure me I won’t do it.” Everyone was impressed by her strong emotions. It almost looked as if she had a little love crush on him, but of course that wasn’t the case. She just wanted to be a good friend. “I probably would suspect Mayumi will bring the whole thing up again.” Rin said while stretching his arms and sighing. Kaede’s expression shifted to panic. “Oh dear! I forgot about Mayumi!” She exclaimed with fright. Rin tried to calm her down. “Listen, don’t worry about her,” He said. “I will do what I can to make sure she doesn’t go wild about any of this okay?” Kaede’s expression changed after he told her he would help out. “Thank you Rin.” Asa’s voice was soon heard. “Oh my gosh! We’re going to be late! Hurry!” After hearing that, Rin, Kaede, and Primula ran as fast as they could.
School was a living boom box! All of the students continued bragging over the dinosaur and the photos. Copies of the pics were everywhere around the school grounds. This was the headline of the year. “Dear gosh,” Rin said while looking around the hall. “Has everyone actually gone mad about this?” This didn’t impress Kaede or the other girls either. “Poor Kasey,” Nerine said. “He is getting as much attention as Rin is.” It was then that Mayumi dropped by. “Hey guys,” She said while laughing. “My photos are a big hit. Who does it feel to be wrong Rin?” Rin tried his best not to get out of control but he was a little close to that edge. “For the last time- those photos of yours were a fake. Not everyone is going to believe about a simple, blurry picture of what appears to be a dinosaur. Geez!” Mayumi was a little upset, but went ahead and let his conversations go. “Whatever, but you got to admit you’re wrong about this one. Everyone in school obviously believes me. What more should I tell you?” While this was going on, Kaede and the other girls could only stand and watch as Rin and Mayumi argue. “This is bad,” Kaede said in her mind. “How long is this going to continue?” But just then, a mysterious figure sucked up behind the girls and scared them. Nerine performed the loudest scream than Kaede or Sia. Everyone who was in the hallway turned in alarm. In even Rin and Mayumi cooled down after hearing her scream. It turned out that Itsuki was the one who surprised them. “Just kidding girls. It’s only me.” He chuckled and thought it was pretty funny. But to the other girls and to Rin, it was far below funny. A couple of minutes after this, Rin and Itsuki managed to get some privacy inside an old room. “What the heck where you thinking?!” Itstuki tried to calm him down. “Now come on man. I was just trying to have some fun with the ladies. You need to do these things every now and then.” Rin was now as angry as a rhinoceros. “I will NOT stick up to your instincts Itsuki! Let’s get that straight! I should’ve hit you or something for doing that!” “You don’t have the guts to do it,” Itstuki said while forming a grin and crossing his arms. “You’re just too much of a goody-goody.” His rich sayings where really ticking Rin off. “I think you owe Nerine an apology..” Itsuki sighed and smiled a little. “Fine, I will apologize to her when I get the chance. But don’t think this is the end of my little jokes. There is more coming your way.” Rin tried his hardest not to encourage himself to hit Itsuki. He eventually survived the matter. After a while, Itsuki managed to apologize to Nerine for sneaking up on her earlier. Nerine accepted his apology, but still wasn’t happy. In fact, once school was over, she left in a hurry. Rin and the others were on the run to find her.
As they made it out from the school, everyone spilt up- Kaede and Primula would cover the left side of town. Sia and Asa would cover the right side of town. While Rin would look through the park. Once he made it to the park, he discovered Nerine sitting on a swing. He slowly approached her. “Everyone has been worried about you,” He said. “What is going on?” Nerine’s face was filled with depression. “Rin, can I share something with you?” He nodded. “I am scared about all of this- the school going crazy over all of this and Kasey is trying his hardest not to risk his life in jeopardy. All of this is scaring me. I wish I could do something to help him, but I don’t know what to do. My powers are too powerful to even protect him. What more can I do Rin? What more can I do?” Rin was thrilled by everything she said. “Nerine, there is something you can do and it’s the same thing I and the others can do- we will look after him and we will make sure that he doesn’t go through any trouble. You’re not alone. Remember that.” Nerine’s eyes widen as well as her expression. She jumped on him and hugged him tightly. “Thank you so much Rin! I love you so much too. I want you to know that.” Rin smiled while blushing a tad. After all of this was settled, the two met with the other girls in downtown. Everything seemed to be calm. When Kaede and Primula got home, they noticed that Kasey wasn’t anywhere in the main section of the house. After looking through the kitchen, they went to the back living room and discovered that he was now a dog and was sleeping on the floor. They slowly walked to him and stroked his belly. He didn’t wake up but rather sighed with happiness. “Don’t worry about any of this Kasey. We will help you get through this. We promise.”
With Kasey having the greatest group of friends he can trust, the major effect of his problem is solved- for now anyways. It turned out that Itsuki was the one who surprised them. “Just kidding girls. It’s only me.” He chuckled and thought it was pretty funny. But to the other girls and to Rin, it was far below funny. A couple of minutes after this, Rin and Itsuki managed to get some privacy inside an old room. “What the heck where you thinking?!” Itstuki tried to calm him down. “Now come on man. I was just trying to have some fun with the ladies. You need to do these things every now and then.” Rin was now as angry as a rhinoceros. “I will NOT stick up to your instincts Itsuki! Let’s get that straight! I should’ve hit you or something for doing that!” “You don’t have the guts to do it,” Itstuki said while forming a grin and crossing his arms. “You’re just too much of a goody-goody.” His rich sayings where really ticking Rin off. “I think you owe Nerine an apology..” Itsuki sighed and smiled a little. “Fine, I will apologize to her when I get the chance. But don’t think this is the end of my little jokes. There is more coming your way.” Rin tried his hardest not to encourage himself to hit Itsuki. He eventually survived the matter. After a while, Itsuki managed to apologize to Nerine for sneaking up on her earlier. Nerine accepted his apology, but still wasn’t happy. In fact, once school was over, she left in a hurry. Rin and the others were on the run to find her.
As they made it out from the school, everyone spilt up- Kaede and Primula would cover the left side of town. Sia and Asa would cover the right side of town. While Rin would look through the park. Once he made it to the park, he discovered Nerine sitting on a swing. He slowly approached her. “Everyone has been worried about you,” He said. “What is going on?” Nerine’s face was filled with depression. “Rin, can I share something with you?” He nodded. “I am scared about all of this- the school going crazy over all of this and Kasey is trying his hardest not to risk his life in jeopardy. All of this is scaring me. I wish I could do something to help him, but I don’t know what to do. My powers are too powerful to even protect him. What more can I do Rin? What more can I do?” Rin was thrilled by everything she said. “Nerine, there is something you can do and it’s the same thing I and the others can do- we will look after him and we will make sure that he doesn’t go through any trouble. You’re not alone. Remember that.” Nerine’s eyes widen as well as her expression. She jumped on him and hugged him tightly. “Thank you so much Rin! I love you so much too. I want you to know that.” Rin smiled while blushing a tad. After all of this was settled, the two met with the other girls in downtown. Everything seemed to be calm. When Kaede and Primula got home, they noticed that Kasey wasn’t anywhere in the main section of the house. After looking through the kitchen, they went to the back living room and discovered that he was now a dog and was sleeping on the floor. They slowly walked to him and stroked his belly. He didn’t wake up but rather sighed with happiness. “Don’t worry about any of this Kasey. We will help you get through this. We promise.”
With Kasey having the greatest group of friends he can trust, the major effect of his problem is solved- for now anyways. But what has happened to the mysterious girl who was last seen walking out of the realm of the demons? She made it to the human world for a purpose, but for what? Smelling the air and looking at the darkness that filled the land, the girl grins which showed sharp teeth. “My time has come…now to find my victim.” After saying this, the figure started walking into the city.
