Yes - I think Benedict Cumberbatch is INCREDIBLE as 'Sherlock Holmes with a Mobile Phone' (as I usually nickname this series). He has managed to make the character approachable whilst still maintaining the famous 'Holmes reserve' (usually misunderstood as coldness). Also, Cumberbatch has precisely the right features for Holmes, which is incredible in this era of 'plastic fantastic' stars. Full marks for this role. He ought to be awarded the TV equivalent of an Oscar. posted over a year ago.
