My brother told me that Sherlock Holmes is a trilogy and that two more movies will come out. Does anyone know anything about it? Thanks! :)

It's true! Sherlock Holmes 2 is set to be released on the 16th of December 2011. Too long a wait if you ask me!!!! At least it'll be good :-)

the sherlock holmes books are not a trilogy (there are a lot more than three) but nobody has confirmed how many movies there will be but Sherlock Holmes 2 is scheduled to premier in december 2011

I haven't seen the second one yet but in one of the short stories (I believe it is called: The Final Problem) at the end Sherlock and Moriarty get in a fight and fall off a cliff into a giant waterfall, both are presumed dead in another book Sherlock comes back and explains to Watson how he escaped death (I don't want to ruin it for you). So as the 2nd movie has Moriarty as the main villian it might follow a similar story line.
