nope..she didn't.In the 1st episode she always tells Yuji that he's just a torch and she's just a flame haze. Yuji gave her the name "Shana" which is a part of her sword's name the "Nietono no Shana". Before she had her name she was always distinguished only as the "Flaming-haired, Blazing-eyed/ red-hot-eyed hunter".

In season 1, she tells Yuji thet she doesn't have a name, just a title "Enpatsu Shakugan no Uchi te". So Yuji gave her the name "Shana", based of her sword, "Nietono no Shana".
