LadyNottingham The doe is like a guardian angel for him. Lily was, to some extent. Or is the doe just the image of his soul ? Yes, Severus had a soul. He had so much soul that he accepted to give up some for others. (Dumbledore, Draco, etc.) Lovely piece of art. Very soulful.
