This is just a short article on what I think of Serenate.

First of all I would like to say, from the very BEGINNING we knew Nate had feelings for Serena and we all knew Serena was trying to avoid him because of this reason and because what she did with him the last summer. It was clear that Nate didn’t have true feelings for Blair, he wasn’t interested. But whenever Serena was there, he had to say or do something. In my opinion Blair was stupid to even think about Nate still being with her after what she found out, and Blair had to know that Nate loved Serena more than her. This proves when she forced him to avoid her and not talk to her, Nate had to explain why to Serena.

Wild brunch: ”Oh come one, Serena loves you, and I think she always had a little crush on you. Of course you and Blair are the perfect couple”
“Mm.”

His response to “You and Blair are the perfect couple” wasn’t very convincing that he was happy about that.

Of course there is the Serena & Dan issue which could be a particular threat to Serenate, but when you think about it, it’s not exactly possible for Serena & Dan to live happily ever after because their parents are in a relationship, and the storyline mainly wanted them two to be together.
All S/N shippers just have to be patient. It might take a while to fall back on track with them, but it will happen.
In my opinion and I think the producer’s opinion, they deliberately had Vanessa there to put her with Dan. I’m not a big fan of D/V but they are the typical couple to be put together at the end. I don’t want to offend D/S shippers or anything with this article, I even think they’re cute, but it’s not exactly appropriate, unless Lily & Rufus break up.

You can just see in Nate’s eyes when he sees her, he lights up.. I in particular loved in season 3 with Serena & Tripp going off on a road trip and Nate demanded her not to go, it just showed how much he cared for her and deserved her in that aspect.. in the end he was there for her, and Serena realised that.


There are plenty of reasons and things I love about S/N, and I do believe they will be endgame. Keep your hopes up Serenate lovers because there should be more Serenate later on in the seasons!
