Hi, Shenae I said looking at the flyer she was looking at. Why are you looking at a basketball flyer? "Because I'm going to try out. "What? I thought you were in cheerleading." "I got kicked off, remember?" I remembered that 4 people from our school and our rival school had to get kicked off. "Oh yeah." I remembered. "But, the problem is, I don't get good grades," she sighed. "Well, just try harder," I said. "And you're going to be late for homeroom, you know how strict Mr. Dalquist is," I warned. "I'm cutting class, to practice for the basketball game," said shenae calmly. "You don't need to practice," I assured her. "You're doing fine already. "Fine is not good enough," said Shenae as she stalked away.
3 days later
"Today is the basketball game!" cheered Shenae, as she ran down the hall to see me. "Boy, am I nervous!" "You made the team?" I asked, remembering that she had cut class all day Wednesday and Thursday so I didn't get to talk to her. "Of course I made the team!" she said cheerfully.
Later in Math class...
"Shenae, your homework?" "I didn't get the assignment, I wasn't in class remember?" "You know you can't keep cutting class, this is unexceptable," said Mr. Dalquist strictly. "I don't think you can balance extra curricular and academics, I'll have to talk to the coach about it."

"Boy, I'm so nervous!" said Shenae worriedly. "Don't worry it'll be fine," I assured her, taking out a pill from my purse. "Wait, what is that?" Shenae asked. "It's a pill for my hyperactiveness," I said. "Wait, that'll help me stay calm for the game!" said Shenae smiling mysteriously. "Well, it's my last one," I said unsure. "Please," begged Shenae. "Oh fine," I said, "I guess I need to be hyper since I'm a cheerleader." She took the pill and went out there. "WOO HOO," said Shenae as she stole the ball from the other team and shot a basket. Our school took the lead of 22-24. "I started figeting as we did the pyramid. (I was second from the bottom.) Then I flipped and ran away from the sidelines. "GO MARSHFIELD!" I shouted as I threw a towelfrom the locker room. Then, I nearly get run over by the basketball players and Principal Woods grabs me into his office. "You know, I could suspend you for this!" Mr. Woods snapped. "It's my medical condition and I forgot to take my Ritalin." I said. "I'll let it go this time," warned Principal Woods sharply. "But, from now on you have to take your pills infront of a secretary." Meanwhile, at the basketball game Shenae is still hyper. She shoots the ball, ignoring the calls from the other players. She misses and Miriam catches it. Shenae runs up to Miriam and pushes her, stealing the ball away. Miriam lands on the floor, holding her ankle in pain. Marshfield wins 39-37.
"Yay, we won!" cheered all the girls. Coach walked up to Shenae. "I saw how you played. You stole the ball from your teammate, show boated, blew plays and pushed Miriam, and know she broke her ankle." Shenae looked as worried as she did when the stalker came to her house. "It was a huge accident, I promise it will never happen again." "I can't take that chance," sighed Coach. "I have to cut you from the team."

"Hello?" the voice said. "Hello?" I laughed. "Who's laughing now?" I said as I hung up. All of the sudden I heard police cars and I saw Shenae. "Shenae!" I yelled. There was this guy that got arrested who looked about 40. "Shenae, tell them I'm you're friend!" he said. She shook her head and cried. "Shenae, what happened?" I asked. "He stalked me, Alison." "From where?" "The internet." they took her computer for evidence. "Shane warned me about him." Shane was Shenae's boyfriend. "It's gonna be okay." I sighed. "He's gonna break up with me." she said. "I know it. "If he does, you can find someone better." I said as I hugged her.
That night before I went to bed I read a book and as I was reading it hit me that I was falling for Munro. The next day, I went with Munro to get his car fixed. "Thanks," he said. "Did you give me the rose." "Yes," he sighed. "Well I like you too." I said as I felt myself blushing. Then we kissed and it was so amazing. Then we I got home I started to right a song. It was 3 minutes and one second long. I told Shenae everything on the phone. She was so excited. So was I. Then I listened to music as I was on the phone with Shenae. When I was done someone else called. "Hello," I said. "May I ask you what color underwear you're wearing." I got so scared my whole mind went blank. I left the phon e onand said nothing.
One day as me and Shenae were walking we saw an Indian girl dressed in Indian clothes. She took them off after her dad left and under it she had jeans with a long sleve green top with bows tied at the shoulders. "Would you like to try out for cheerleading?" I asked. "Are you kidding? I'd love to." "Great, just sign your name here," said Shenae. She signed Melinda Shankar on our sign up sheet. Today was a field trip to camp at the woods, and we all lined up to the bus. "Hi, I'm Melinda," she said to a guy with long curly blonde hair. I could tell she had a crush on him. "Wanna go out?" she asked him, not sounding that scared. "No," he said flatly. "Why not?" she asked. "You're a ninth grader," he said "I don't date ninth graders." She seemed dissapointed, and I wondered if Ryan would reject me.
