The cast of ‘Scream Queens’ have made it clear — they really want Harry Styles on season two. So is it happening? Well the final answer was just revealed. Was it what you were hoping for?

panel at PaleyFest, press and fans alike had one huge question: would Harry Styles really be joining the series? While EP Brad Falchuk told HollywoodLife.com exclusively they were searching for three “hunky doctors” for season two, we had to know — would one be Harry? Well, now we know.

“Sorry for any confusion, but as much as we love @harry_styles he will not be joining the #ScreamQueens Season 2 cast,” the official Twitter account wrote on March 13.

Of course, this comes as a surprise to us — but it was probably tweeted since the cast was 

at PaleyFest this weekend. It all started when Lea Michele told 

magazine she really wanted him on the show. Brad actually revealed at the panel that Lea started the rumor — and that led to the whole cast discussion.

Lea and Emma Roberts both got into a funny argument on stage about who Harry would be romantically connected to if he was cast. Emma then also said she’d be open to any of the One Direction guys joining, since Ryan Murphy previously said they were looking at a big male pop star to join. When the cast was asked who else they’d like to see, Lea yelled out “Zayn.” Seriously, I’m on board.

Before PaleyFest, we chatted with Brad exclusively all about season two. “We’re trying to find three great guys to play these three hunky doctors. So it’s more about finding those guys, and they’ll be series regulars,” Brad told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. Of course, Abigail Breslin brought up Justin Bieber — but we also have a few ideas, now that Harry is out.
