Sansa Stark Question

When did you start liking Sansa?

I'm quite aware that Sansa was a rather unlikeable characte at the beginning of A Game of Thrones. So my question is, when did you begin to like her? Personally I started liking her more at the end of the first book when she began standing up to Joffrey ("or maybe he'll bring me yours.") and after that I liked her more and more as the series progressed and she is now my fifth favourite character. How about you?

I disliked her a lot in most of the first series (Haven't read the books yet) but I started to like her better in the end as you said when she begins to stand up and question Joffrey.

I liked her before I had even read the books. I learned about it from the Wikis and reading what people had said and she just fascinated me because she's SO different from the typical literature heroine (who is typically like Arya, Asha, Dany, or Ygritte).

she's the whole reason I started reading the books. I liked her as much as I thought she would. while I think GRRM overdid a couple bratty moments (One I think it was exaggerated for Sansa, who is actually a nice person, and two, like, really? Arya's going to beg her forgiveness? someone as immature and unforgiving as her forgive Sansa being mean to her? No way), I don't see her as unlikable at all as everyone else says. she's a girl who is fed up with her spoiled little sister getting away with everything while she has to be the example and is trying to become queen, the best thing a young girl in Westeros can ever hope to be.

so I guess, I liked her right away. I REALLY hope GRRM doesn't give her TOO much development- I want Sansa to stay the sweet, idealistic, forgiving Stark she's supposed to be! (I have no doubt that wretched TV show will change her, though.)

I wasn't a fan of her's at first, but that began to change in series three, when she finally admitted the truth about what she really felt about Joffrey to the Tyrells. She could have done better in series four five than trusting in Littlefinger, but after being Wed to Ramsay, she deserves all the sympathy and luck she can get.
