The cover of Rouvas' self-titled début album.Upon going to Patras, Rouvas continued to look for performance opportunities, until he met Dakis, a popular Greek artist of the era, who was the first person to help him professionally. He soon after moved to Athens, and after being given much advice by Dakis, in 1991, Rouvas made his first professional appearance at the Show Centre in Athens, singing a popular Michael Jackson song that gave him the freedom to show both his vocal style as well as stage performance.
