Hey everyone!!
Catching five minutes here to give you all a shout!! Hope all is well in your world. Mine has been a little hectic lately, but sure, better to be busy than idle – especially in this business!!
I’ve just came in from my final basketball game before the tour. Can’t believe the tour has crept up on us again. I’m gonna miss the basketball games – maybe I’ll get the lads to take it up on tour…..mmmm…maybe some of the new crew will play…that could be my better bet…
So, the rehearsals went great last week. We were actually back in the old stomping ground of the Helix – some great memories from there!! The new choreography from Belinda is great. Although, we’ve still quite a lot to do!! The new tour is gonna be fantastic though – I really believe that. So, from Monday on, it’s gonna be work, work , work!!
Before that, however, we have the Duckfast Derby this Sunday!!! I, again, want to say a massive thank you to all of you who have donated to this great cause. Your generosity has amazed the people here in the Moy and, to be honest, you’ve given me a lot more street cred around the football club!! Great work!!!
So, I’m collecting the names of everyone who has donated through the various means and putting them all in a hat (or whatever I can find!!) and will pull out three names on Sunday. Two will receive personalized signed photos of myself and the third will receive two free tickets for a Celtic Thunder show of your choice in the Autumn Tour. I’m gonna try and film the draw so that you’ll not be able to accuse me of cheating!!! Plus, I’ll post some photos of the actual derby itself so you can see those ducks all floating down the river! I just hope there’s a current or the “race” may actually last for five days – I’m not sure if some of the older ducks could last that long!! ; ) Anyways, good luck to you all and thanks again!!
So, in other news, I know you’ve heard this so many times now, but my website is NEARLY there!!! Really, I swear!! It’s close!!! A few small, last minute changes, and we should be there!! I’m so looking forward to getting your reaction to it – and, more importantly, to hear what you think of my music, which will be there very soon as well!! Thankfully I’ve had a few invaluable people helping me to get to this stage. I hadn’t realized just how much work it actually takes!!
On that note, I’m going to head to my bed! I’ve to get up early in the morning for my run before I go and sing a vocal for a friend of mine who has written a song and wants me to help him out. Maybe I’ll even get a chance to get a beer before I head away Monday!! Gonna have a bit of a get-together in my house Saturday night I think – so hopefully I’ll get away Monday – you know how these Irish parties go!!
