Do you think Sophie believed in Jack?

In the movie,Sophie didn't seem to slip off Jack's arms when he was bringing her home despite the fact that only someone who believes in Jack can be touched by him.

Anyone who is sophie's age would believe in anything . I mean if you told a kid that a monster was chasing the,m what do you think they would do ?!
