Reasons why I love Rick's writing, Reasons Why it can be much better.....

Hey everyone, I'm MijmiD,but it's ok if you call me Mij. As you can see, I am a pretty big Percy Jackson/Heroes of Olympus fan, and I have a couple of things to say about those books....

Reasons why I love these books....

1.They're exciting and thrilling
2.Rick sure knows how to make a good couple!
3.They have death, one of the main ingredients to an excellent book
4.The descriptions are vivid
5.It's not like a Judy Moody book that has like, only 60 pages

Reasons why these books can be better....
1.The main character always has a heart of steal...not one tear dropped from their eye when a loved one died.
2.I think that it would be cool if one of the main characters were blind or deaf, like Frank or Hazel
3.The books aren't very inspiring, like Harry Potter, I think Rick needs a life lesson in his books....

Either way I love these books, but I just think it needs a little more.

HecateA Hi Mij, It was a good article and I agree with you! Except for two little factors... Percy did crack after the Titan war. But remember; he had to be a hero the whole time. He had to have a high head, he had to be proud and steel because there was always something he needed to do... And remember; Leo did lose it when Festus died, and Piper shed a tear about her dad. And as for life lessons... I think that they were there. You need to know your ennemy; Luke wasn't born evil, he had a harsh past. You can be a hero; Percy started out as an ADHD dyslexic kid that had nearly given up on himself and now... I think that that rags to riches story was pretty good. And you can't stop everything from happening, you can't hold grudges... And also remember; the Percy Jackson books aren't meant to be as deep or inspiring. Again; I really liked your article but... Also; Harry Potter is one in a freaking million :)
