"By what?!" I asked letting go of her slowly.
"When I woke up, I put on my regular clothes. Then I saw the waiting room crowded, and The doctors caught me sneaking away. They tried to stop me but by the time I got outside, Buildings were on fire, People were packing their bags and leaving, People were still fleding from the streets and then before I new it, they were all gone." She started.
"Gone how?" I asked.
"They were dead but then somehow they came back to life. And they were sick and I mean They chased me up down the street. Then I found a safe place, but there was a dog. There was nothing wrong with him. I tried to pet it then the little bastard bit me!" I complained.
I was releived that she wasn't bitten by an actual zombie or an infected dog. She was bleed pretty badly, so I bandaged her up with a peice of my ripped shirt. I new someone was responsible. It was time for me to take my job more seriously. I had to find who kidnapped those missing people. He went missing but they say he couldn't have possibly left with all the destruction and all of these brainless canibal freaks running around here. I wasn't so happy about a hard task being put on me, but now my family and my friends back home are in danger and so are a lot other humans who need our help too. So I had no choice but to let the little jerk free.
"Hey, Nickole. Follow me." I ordered.
"Where are we going?" she asked walking with me.
"I'm going to finish my job, Nickole." I answered.
When I we got closer to the hospital where Leon was still waiting there for me. He was still pouting like an over sized baby because he was stupid enough to deceive the way I did.
"Nickole, this is Leon. Leon meet my sister, Nickole." I introduced.
"Are you sure she's not infected?" Leon asked scrutinizing her closely.
"No, she was bitten in the hand by a dog. It wasn't infected." I said. " But on the other hand... I want to make you a deal." I said. "If you help me find a person and help me handle some unfinished bussiness I will let you go. If not then you're gonna be left here with your hadcuffs still on and possibly left for to die."
"Will you give me my gun back?" Leon asked.
"Yep. And if you want you don't even have to see my face again after it's all through."
"Fine then. I will help. But if you screw it all up, then you're on your own." he said agreeing with my terms.
"Thank you, Leon." I said. "Here's the key."
"Thanks. What do we need to do first?" Leon asked.
"I think we should get more ammunition. Then after that I should go see was they recovered from our apartment." I said. "Let's go."
We found a ammunition shop about a ten minutes later. We load up and headed out and set out for our case. We went back to the meuseum to find the victims. Though the building was in ruins, there was was still the basement with the new attractions there. When we reached the basement, there was locks on the doors. We knew there was something usefull near by. I looked around by myself to look for the keys and then I encountered some company, but it wasn't any company I was looking for. It was another zombie but it seemed like he was more faster and stronger. It grabbed to my arms, and tried to bite my head off.
"Get off!" I said, even though it was kind of pointless.
"Duck!" I heard Leon yell. When I ducked I felt blood splatter on teh wall and some of it got on me. "Are you alright?"
I was terrified. I didn't even respond. I stood there terrified and getting ready to throw up. I just shook my head yes. But it wouldn't be the first time he saved my sorry butt.
