Red Dead Redemption Question

has this ever happened to anyone?

So I didn't like the horse Bonnie gave me in New Friends, Old Problems so I just went to the horse corral at the MacFarlane Ranch and stole one I liked and no one cared, I even took one in front of people and no one seemed to mind, yet I took one in Armadillo and I was charged with horse theft. Has this happened to anyone before?

This was the horse I took, it helped in Obstacles in our Path or whatever
has this ever happened to anyone?

Maybe because you were friends with Bonnie, the Ranch's people didn't mind you taking a Horse and as she had already gave you one, what is the harm of you taking another from the Ranch and as it was probably someone else's Horse in Armadillo it would be counted as theft and it hasn't happened to me, I just stick with the Horse I get until I see another I like. thanks, i just chose that one bcoz it was the same one bonnie used in the race, i won the race and wasn't bucked off!!

lol, i like the wild horses, tamed passions mission, it was cool, i haven't got very far in though

u dont get charged at the very beggining of the game cuz u currently cudn't make money to pay off bounty and stuff but when you get futher on u learn the basics and then u feel like an outlaw and ... it kinda sucks damn sherrifs shooting me down all the time :( lol (my fav horse is the unicorn in undead nightmare i just cudn't stop laughing UNICORN

it was at the beginning of the game when I stole it from Armadillo. My favourite horse is either the American Standardbred or Death/Pestilence
