As you can tell from the pick images, my favorite book is "Gone With the Wind", which of course has been turned into a movie (Gone With the Wind is my favorite movie too!)

I've always thought that a film adaptation to "Childhood's End" would really suit Will Smith to a T.. I've yet to see or hear of a script adaptation for it. New DUNE remake would be a clever contemporary analogy for these energy-troubled times.

My favourite is Kathy Reichs and they sorta adapted them into a tv show, so I guess, yes.

Allot of stephen king books have been made into good, sometimes innacurate, movies. Clive Barker's Hellbound heart has been made into a movie too (renamed Hellraiser for some reason) My sister's favorite was the circue du freak series, but the movie was actually very disopointing.

I liked the book better, but the movie was fun to watch.

Yes and it's happened to me many times so far!! My first was reading "Jaws" and then watching the movie, but I loved reading it so much better!! But I've found out over the years that it goes both ways, were the movie was even better than the book!! And these been times too, that I've totally enjoyed both the movie and the book!!

and sadly it probably never will. it's just an average romance novel. I would just love to see it as a movie though. even something slightly similar to the story would excite me

Some of them have, yes. I would love to see my favorite suspense writer Carlene Thompson have some of her books made into movies. She is so much better than Mary Higgins Clark!

Well the Vampire Academy series is my favorite, as a whole, and the movie just recently came out.. IT WAS TERRIBLE. I'm in denial that it even happened. How they turned such an amazing book into the most shitastic movie I'll never know.

Mine is Jurassic Park it’s not faithful still I find it fairly mature with Universal than how a company like Disney would’ve conveyed in where they are whimsical and have this greed for kid’s merchandising.
Even though, my second favorite is Holes which surprisingly for a Disney film is pretty faithful. Which more to say the my third favorite Bambi A Life In The Woods, though however I mostly bothered that they just use the child Bambi and barely the adult combine with Disney’s cutesy and whimsical nature that causes standard public to make Bambi a “memetic loser” because of Disney doing cutesy “BIRD!” and ice skating. They also removed to much deer characters.(Though I do not intend on being a purist so I’ll still reluctantly call it a tie)
