In all honesty, because I don't believe in that mystic mumbo-jumbo crap! I'll usually just take the paper out so I can eat the cookie without breaking it (Until it gets into my mouth lol). I'll look at the fortune for fun but not take it seriously.

Fortunes are fun, even though they're obv ridiculous and I don't believe them.

It sucks b/c in the last few years I've noticed a shift away from fortunes. Now they just give you some philosophical advice like, "A foolish man listens to his heart." That is not a fortune, that's a proverb. I want an actual fortune, tyvm.
