1. Hold your dustpan in place with something (or someone).

If you have a pet chameleon handy, that’s great. If not, use a book, shoe, or sibling to hold your dustpan in place when you’re sweeping, and never again will you have to do the terrible dance of crouching down on the floor like you’re some sort of troll to sweep the last bits up.

2. Be creative in utilizing your limbs whilst cleaning.

Rapunzel is doing some boss level moves here, and we can’t recommend skating around on scrubbers because Safety First. But maybe you could like, strap some scrubbers to your knees and crawl around? We’re not sure. But there’s definitely something here.

The simplest solution to finding an audience: Don’t! Be your own biggest fan and give yourself generous standing ovations after every song. You deserve it.

This is a real life thing that artists do. We’ve seen it happen. If you want to compare sizes of things but you forgot your emergency yardstick, hold your arm all the way out, close one eye, and see how the different objects compare to your thumb. (Are you trying it? You better be trying it.)

We’re generally big proponents of the Corners and Edges First strategy, but Rapunzel may be onto something here. Try just building the puzzle by color and pattern; if you’re visually inclined, that might be the fastest way!

6. You can balance things on places you didn’t know you could balance things on.

The crook of your elbow is a good one (those of us who have waited tables use it a lot). Your head is also surprisingly useful, but make sure you practice with soft things. Like pillows.
