Torian was holding a map up that covered his face,walking around inside a forest.Rattata scurried along the ground and grass,picking up berries and such.Meanwhile,matt was groaning in annoyance at the fact that he was utterly lost."This is completely stupid!I can't even find where i am on this map!"he shouted."Hey you!Stop yelling,you're disturbing the pokemon!''another voice shouted,that torian was sure wasn't his own.A boy appeared from behind a tree.He had blonde curly hair and brown eyes.He was wearing an orange hoodie,brown pants,and brown shoes along with brown finger less gloves.Torian looked at the boy in confusion."Who are you?"he asked."You know,it's proper manners to introduce yourself first."Torian sweat dropped."Oh,sorry.My name is torian."The boy nodded."My names christian."Christian replied,crossing his arms and leaning against the tree."So.....what are you doing in this forest?"Christian asked torian,who shrugged."I'm just trying to find my way to viridian city,so i can register for the pokemon league."Christian's eyebrows raised."So,your a pokemon trainer eh?"Torian nodded."Yeah!I'm a rookie though,professor oak just gave me this charmander."he said holding up a poke-ball."Well then, have a request."the boy took out a poke-ball."I'm a rookie from the professor too,and i want to have a battle.If you win,i'll tell you how to get through the forest.But if i win..."christian grinned evilly."Give me you pokemon and go back to pallet,and never leave again!"Torian's eyes widened in shock,but slowly he nodded,"Okay,whatever.I'll just beat you,no matter what.But we can't battle here,we need to go to some kind of clearing."Christian nodded."Follow me."They walked for a short while before approaching a clearing."Here we are."Torian looked at the clearing and nodded.After taking their positions,christian smirked."You ready to lose your pokemon?" "Are you gonna battle,or talk?Let's get started!One pokemon each!"Christian took out his poke-ball again."I'm game.Go now and obliterate my foes,bulbasaur!"he said as he threw his ball and bulbasaur landed on the battlefield."Bulbasaur huh?Not a bad choice."torian said,holding up his pokedex. "But......it's your turn,charmander!''torian threw his poke-ball out,and charmander came out.

Christian:Dodge,then use tackle!

-Charmander attempted to scratch bulbasaur,but bulbasaur dodged,then delivered a tackle attack.it hit for 3 damage.

Torian:Charmander,you alright?

-Charmander stood and nodded.

Torian:Then let's rock and roll!Charmander,use scratch again!

-Charmander's attack hit,causing 3 damage.

Christian:Bulbasaur,use bullet seed!

Torian:Counter it,with ember!

-Both attacks collided and no damage is taken to either pokemon.

Torian:Now,use ember again!

Christian:Dodge bulbasaur,then tackle it again!

-Charmander used ember,which bulbasaur didged,then tackled charmander for 3 damage.

Bulbasaur-7 hp

Christian:Finish this,with bullet seed!Then tackle!

Torian:dodge bullet seed,then get in close and use ember!Watch out for bulbasaur's tackle!

Bulbasaur used tbullet seed but it was avoided by charmander.Charmander got in close to bulbasaur,dodged it's tackle,then used ember close up.it hit for 5 damage.

Christian:Bulbasaur,get up!

Torian:Finish it with tackle!

-Charmander attack the downed bulbasaur.It hit for 2 damage.Bulbasaur fainted.

Torian:Yes!We did it charmander!Our first match!

Christian:Impossible!

Torian:It's so possible!Now tell me,where is viridean city?

Christan:Just follow that path,it'll lead you to the city.


Torian nodded and started to run,but as he ran,he heard christian shout his name.He turned to look at christian,who was grinning,and giving a thumbs-up."Next time we battle torian,i'll be the winner!"Torian smirked."You wish,christian!See'ya!"he started running again with a determined look in is eyes.'Next time we meet we'll both be stronger christian,but i'll make sure that i'm still the winner!'he thought.
