"Mom! I'm heeerre for my very first Pokemon!" I enter with a wave and a cheer. "Hey sweetie, you excited?" I nod in agreement. My mom smiles charmingly, despite shes never had a single boyfriend over the age of 30. Haha, I love making fun of my mom. "Well honey, all the starters are taken!" I gape. "They're... All taken?!" My mellow green eyes widen. "Yup, but don't fret dear, I have just the one for you!" She digs in her brief case and takes out a shiny Poke'ball. I shrug. "Oh well, its a Pokemon and I guess you didn't promise me any certain one.." A purple glow points out to the lab floor. Soon it takes shape as a cat-like animal. It's pointy ears and lean body appear, finally the whole Pokemon takes place right next to my teal converse shoes. "Esp!" I gasp and show a surprised smile. "W-what Pokemon is this? I think I've seen it on tv before!" My mom shows me another warm smile. "Her name is Espeon! Shes a psychic type!" Espeon gave me a curious look. "Esp?" I held me hand out gently. "Come on, I'm your new trainer, my name is Celeste Winstrom." I giggle and pick my new Pokemon up. It took her a while for her to identify me. Then after she rubbed her cheeks on my messy blue pigtails. "Eon!"
"Okay mom, thanks for the Pokemon! I'll be on my way now-"" "You aren't going anywhere missy!" I give her a frightened look, she looked scary. Soon her face turned into a happy laugh. "Hahaha, sorry dear, I was just playing! But before you leave you have to give me a big huge hug!" I rolled my eyes and sighed in relief and ran up to her.
After we said our goodbyes I started off to my journey as a Pokemon trainer. I walked off to Route 1, I was in Unova by the way. "Here we go.." I said under my breath to Espeon.
