Will there be another Pokemon game?

So are X and Y the last games in the pokemon series, because I've heard rumours of new games being developed, but then there are people who tell me these rumours are false. Which is the correct answer?????

I've heard the rumors about the new games as well. I'm not sure if said rumors are true, but I don't think they'd stop such a successful series. Even if it's just a rumor, it doesn't mean X and Y were the last, it just means there'll be a break between.

Because people are barking at them to remake the older games, which is a horrible idea. I agree, the simpler is boring.
