First one played was Sapphire, first one owned was Crystal. As odd as that sounds.

Fire Red was the first ever Pokemon game I played and owned!

I was given Pearl as a gift, but I was too young to really play it and it sat on a shelf for quite a while. Later, I was given Diamond, which I played and fell in love with. I'm fairly sure that I have played through that region (between Diamond, Pearl, and, later, Platinum,) over 50 times
