Does anyone think it's weird Trip can beat ash ( read description)

I mean come on Ash has been training for a long time in all differnt regions. But gets beat by a Newbe who just now started his journay. i think that is a little wierd, but B/W is a horrible show......

i know it was becouse picachu was hurn and all but a snivy beat him. Picachu could have just used iron tail or quick attack

i know that its just Ash to me is getting weaker and weaker in unava. his pokemon team is just plan sad this season
