CAN SOME LAESE TELL ME WHY SPLASH,SUCH A USELESS MOVE, IS THE ONLY MOVE A MAGICARP, A VERY WEAK POKEMON, HAS IN THE WILD

i think the directors did that to teach people that patience is the key to raising a pokemon. i'm not sure, i'm just concluding:P

Because the game is a bitch, just give it an exp. share and train it 'till it becomes a gyarados.

because I think it kinda makes u feel proud when u get a garidos coz you've spent AGES trying to level up your stupid magikarp when all it knows is SPLASH
or the game wanged up there XD

because when it evolves it already hass two moves including splash

If I remember right, I think I've heard that splash does something in water, so that's probably it

Maybe the programmers though splash had no use and so they made Magikarp the wimpiest Pokemon ever, so that is why Magikarp is Magikrap!

Pretty wild pokemon will have the last 4 moves it will learn at the level it is in the wild so any lvl 15+ should have Tackle and lvl30+ will also have Flail.

Probably so people who find it are like "Wow, it can't do anything? It's obviously not worth the catch," but people who give it hope and try raising it get a Gyarados. So a lesson on how good it is to give people a chance, I guess....

Now, now. Why are you insulting Magikarp? We believe that all Pokemon are equals, and just because a Pokemon doesn't have much battle skill doesn't make it useless. I happen to be friends with a Magikarp, it's very nice to have around. And once it evolves, if you're friends with it, it can be an ideal partner in battle. So don't pick on Magikarp, or someday a Gyrados will eat your face or something.
