How old is Ash now?

I haven't seen some of the new pokemon shows yet and he must have gotten older, so i know he was 12 I think when he started his journey

He SHOULD be 14, but he's OFFICIALLY 10. At the end of the short from the 3rd Pokemon movie, he made a party to celebrate 1 year of being together with Pikachu. Since the movies and shorts are canon (and Ash got Pikachu right after his 10th Birthday) Pokemon Company did something completely stupid by removing his aging. Also, when they switched voice actresses in the English dub, I thought it was puberty.
