In a land so far away,
Where the trees they seem to sway, A beautiful maiden stands in the middle of a lake, in a dark dense Forest As she looks up, the light hits her eyes Revealing around her, many fireflies. Together they fly, Peacefully they flutter, Like candles under melting butter. Tears fall down the maidens face, As if they were running there own private race. Still they continue to fall without any purpose, Ripples form on the lake, as they hit the surface. The fireflies, so sad to see her cry, Then flew up so very high. At that moment, the maiden stopped crying, Because now, she could see them flying. She then said aloud, with words that were bold. “I will fly again, I am not to blame, I am not an angel, that has gone insane.” With head held high, and hope in heart, She then walks off into the dark.
