It was good movie but not as good movie as the orginal. The sequel will never live up to the orginal movie! There were some things that I didn't like about the sequel. For start I didn't like how John Smith charcter was portrayed. They completely distroyed his charter in the sequel by making him a coward and a jerk.I hate they did that so Pocahontas could be with John Rolfe.John Smith was nothing in this movie like he was in the orginal movie. In the orginal movie he wouldnt pull those stints as he did in sequel. He was always by Pocahontas side and did agree to help in peace compare to sequel where he was opposite and suggest she do nothing, that's not the Smith we all know and love! Another thing I found wrong was Pocahontas charcter. In orginal movie she was very brave and didn't let anybody stand in her way in what she feels is right. In sequel she doubted herself and was very weak you know like dimsel in distress kind of thing, and another thing she feel for Rolfe just like that. There was just no conetion at all between Pocahontas and Rolfe, they just threw them toghter just like that! Don't get me wrong Rolfe is good guy but I just hate how Disney threw him and Pocahontas toghter to make everybody happy! Pocahontas and Rolfe didn't have that deep bond and connection like it was with Smith. The relationship with Smith in first movie was deep, passionate and true love.Pocahontas and Rolfe just came to each other without any deep bond and conection, they were just thrown together.I understand Disney did because it's part of history and the first movie wasn't accurate to what it was suposed to be but come on! The sequel wasn't all accurate either so why change a great thing of the orginal movie? I could on and on things I despise in sequel but I won't,I think I already made my point.

I really love the sequel AND the original movie equally, because I think Pocahontas' story in general was amazing despite it not being historically correct.. I consider Pocahontas to be one of the best Disney princesses and I felt like the first movie wasn't finished, that's why I was pleased to see the second one. While the first one had a better animation, I think the second one had much better music and "Where do I go from here" is in my opinion one of the best Disney songs.

Personally, I enjoyed both Pocahontas/Smith and Pocahontas/Rolfe relationship and believe they both were meaningful in terms of her story but in my opinion Pocahontas should have ended up single and that is my only problem with the sequel. I wish she had gone home on her own.

Worst Disney sequel for me because it destroyed the meaning of the first movie. I loved that beautiful love story between Pocahontas and John Smith but no, Disney just had to ruin it. :D Only sequel I have truly enjoyed is Mulan 2. Pocahontas is my second favorite Disney (animation) movie, but it's hard to enjoy it that much anymore because I know what happens in the second movie. And yes, I know about that historical accuracy crap that the real Poca married Rolfe. But it's supposed to be a magical Disney movie, not a documentary! The second movie is still as historically inaccurate as hell, even with Rolfe in it.

Team John SMITH forever!!! <3
