Seems like Pixar's style.

A city of dogs, is too obvious and common.

I'd rather do a city of Cats or Horses.....

Who read my mind? Lol. I can't wait for Pixar to go to the dogs, if you'll pardon the expression. x3 Not that "a city of dogs" is necessarily the most exciting way to phrase it, but yes, that would be very cool.

"Too obvious and common"?!? No way! Yes, there are loads of dog movies and dogs are one of the more commonly seen animals in day to day life. But there are infinitely many ways to be unique and original using dogs as characters. The sheer variety of canines in existence is enough to make it a tantalizing proposition.

Cats, horses, or almost any other animals don't make bad subjects either, of course. Pixar can work wonders with anything!

Now, the rest of those choices are extremely appealing too, particularly the magic and the mystery. (Of course, they're no less seemingly obvious or common than dogs!) In fact it seems very likely they'll deal with some of those subjects first--not that those concepts couldn't potentially be combined or used in a dog/animal story, etc.

The medieval one sounds awfully Shrekish, too. :]

ok ok The nights: bad idea! i mean, a guy trying to save a girl, i ve seen it a THOUSAND TIMES and the guy ALWAYS succed, so... BORING!!!
I dont really like dogs, Maybe a Sherlock Holmes movis could do, like in the Cars toons "Mater,Private Eye". I could see that.

Witches, with magical powers,i can go with that, but Knits and princesses, NO!
