Pippi Longstocking Pippi's name in your country?

Heya fellow Pippi-lovers!
I'm just curious to see where in the world Pippi is present and how.
So, what's her name in your language, are there any other differences? Also, is she very well-known or have you just discovered her by chance?

I'm from Holland, and her name is Pippi Langkous there, which means the same as the original swedish name Pippi Langstrump. In Holland everybody knows who she is. But I live in France where pipi actually means pee, so they changed the name to Fifi Brindacier, which means little piece of steel. Also she is much less well-known here, which sucks!

Tell me about your Pippi!

In Hungary we call her Harisnyás Pippi, which means 'Pippi in stocking', not longstocking
Pipi also means 'chicken' in Hungarian but they didn't change, it's even more fun this way
She's not very very popular here, but many people know her

Peppi Pitkätossu; Pippi Longslipper :D

Very famous in Finland. I grew up watching the show and I know basically every line even though they're in Swedish.
