How could i dream of Nico? I didn't even like him. I didn't want to get up. I had Headache beacase my head felt like i had added five pounds to it. I jumped out of bed and stared in the mirror that Percy had put in for me. My hair no longer reached my collar bone. It passed down to my third rib. i changed into my orange shirt and jeans. I braided my hair but it still hung at the same length. I wrapped my hair into a bun to hide its length. I stepped out and the sun blinded my eyes. people were milling around waiting for the breakfast horn to blow. And it did. I followed everyone else to the pavilion. I gathered my food i through in a piece of toast.
"love you dad". I slid in all my sweet fruit.
"Aphrodite help me". I walked away to go sit next to Percy who was shoving so much food in his mouth it was amazing.
"Hey Percy is everything okay"?
"Capture the flag today".
"So.. All you have to do is not get tagged".
"No this capture the tag is brutal,weapons, sometimes death". I pushed food in my mouth so i wouldn't squeak.
"Oh Tyson finished your sword".
"Really, can i go see it"?
"Yes after breakfast".I praticatlly poured my plates contents in my mouth. Percy chuckled and led me to the beach. Tyson sat there holding a tiny glittering object. I ran to him but he wasn't holding a sword just a silver chain that held a small silver heart etched into it were a moon and two words.
"Fegarri Paliria" Tyson nodded.
A bracelet? What the hell was i supposed to do with a bracelet?
"Its very pretty Tyson but i thought you made me a sword"? Tyson pressed a small button on the side of the bracelet and in Tyson's hand was a sword that was at least 3 feet and nine inches. Its blade was almost gold in color but the handle glowed silver. With a moon and the two words still etched in it.
"WOW"! i hugged Tyson as hard as i could.
"Thank you Tyson"!
"Is the blade celistal bronze"?
"Yes Percy".
"Whats cellulite bronze. sounds gross".
"No its celistal bronze it kills monsters, wont even touch a human".
"Cool with it hurt any one here"?
"Yes but not kill them". I held my sword it was perfectly balanced in very way. I pressed the button again and the bracelet sat in my palm I slid it onto my wrist and it gleamed in the sunlight.
"Lets go get you armored up Alena". Percy and i walked away i was grinning from ear to ear.
"Do you like it"?
"Yes". Percy suited me up but i didn't want a helmet. A horn sounded and Percy led me to the edge of the forest.
"Were blue team, kick the red teams ass".
"OK".
"CHARGE"! yelled a voice. I ran like my life depended on it. I clicked my bracelet and my sword was in my hand. Out of the corner of eye i saw long red hair fly past. Designer jeans and a cropped orange shirt.
Veronica.
"Alena stay with me". I ignored Percy voice and chased after veronica. She was several feet in front of me with a red helmet on it. She stopped at a stream across from it sat red flag. She passed through the water that reached her ankles. I walked behind her but i was quieter in the water. She reached the flag and turned around.
"Hi Alena". She flashed me a white smile.
"Hi". I held my sword like i knew how to use it.
"You know You should go to Matt to the ball tonight, Because Nico is going with me and cant feed you your bottle every five minutes". I stopped walking forward. She smiled she saw were she could hit me hardest. I flew blade t her throat.
"OOOh does Alena have a crush on her baby sitter"?
I heard footsteps coming from the forest.
"Shut it".
"Oh is it more than a crush"? I held my point sharper at her throat.
"Go on Alena Hurt me , he'll hate you forever". More footsteps. I brought my blade down.
"Thats what i thought". My anger boiled over i raised the blade and Sliced her arm.
"Ow"!Her arm was bleeding ALOT. She raised her sword and put it against mine.
"he will never like or love you you know that right"?
"Shut up"! And i slashed at her other arm.
"Not after me". And she slashed my arm. I accelerated forward and let my rage loosed i slashed and Finally she caught up. She had blood seeping every where. She grabbed my blade beacase she had gloves on. So i spun and jabbed her with my hilt. She layed on the ground. I grabbed the red flag. Veronica looked at me.
"Dont think i know that"? I spat and turned around. Nico was standing at the top of the hill behind the stream along with Percy and the rest of blue team. Nicos blue helmet fell out of his hands. Percy was staring at me with his mouth agape. I reached the hill and threw the flag on the ground.
"There, game over". Nico was staring at me with so much sadness. No it was pity. Tears burned my eyes. So i ran past the team, past Percy, past everything. I ran away.Again. I reached my cabin and cried.A loud knock sounded at the door. I opened it a boy about 3 inches taller than me was standing there. He had brown hair that was skater style but it curled at the edges his hair was streaked with red and blond from being out in the sun. He had deep brown eyes filled with happiness.
"Hi I'm Micheal, I'm in Apollo's cabin".
"Oh, Im Alena, This cabin". Micheal Smiled.
"Is there anything i can do for you Micheal"?
"Oh please call me Mike and um yeah i wanted to know if you know". He bent his head bent his head in embaresment.He looked up at me.
"I'm Fourteen".
"OK"?
"Thats sorry, I meant to ask you if you would go to the Amelia ball with me". He ducked his head again. Well Nico was going with veronica and i didn't want to go with Matt.
"Yeah i would".
"Really"?
"Yeah".
"I'll meet you there then, it starts at 9:00".
"OK bye".
"bye". And he walked away.
