Do you know about Skivate fans?0_o

I do know about the Pripper/Skivate Fans (I do not care what it is call, for I do not like, and/or support it), and I also no that the slash pairings it wrong. Not as in wrong, disturbing, but wrong everything! I do respect your opinions, however, but that does not mean I cannot express my own. And this is my own. That Pripper, and Kico, and KowalSkip, and all the slash pairings are against my beliefs, and what I think entirely. I do love the pairings in a father/son/brother/brother way, but that is the extent of it. I do not mean to insult, or hurt you in any way, if you like those pairings, and if you have a problem with what I have said, that's fine. Just don't make it a big deal.

I will answer the same that I said in the "Hey there sexy" image : I'm alright with all the PoM pairings and I can read fanfictions about all of them (Julene, Skilene, Kico) and even Skivate because yes, they are cute.
BUT, I feel too much uncomfortable, because, as you said, Private is like 16-18 and Skipper 30. More than "too old" or "too weird", I think it's "too WRONG". In my mentality, that kind of relationship is just wrong. EVEN if I know it's cute and I enjoy reading it, basically because it's a show and we are not sure about their ages, I don't think that would be "correct" to see it in the show.
I know that will never happened in the show, but if it does, I would be very surprised, and not in a good way.

Unfortunetly i do not approve of Skivet/ Pripper. I mean, i understand where the idea comes from, but honestly? Skipper is basically a father to Private, i mean just the way Skipper protects him is in a fatherly way (for example:in the episode "When the Chips are down", when Private was found safe, Skipper gave him a hug and yells at him "Never scare me like that again! You hear me?X5". Now i have never heard a guy who has a crsuh on someone say that, but how many times i have heard a father say that to a son is countless)
I mean no disrespect to Pripper fans, but a gay couple on a kids show? Isnt that a little hectic?
Plus Private and Skipper have shown that they both fall for females. (Skipper for Kitka and for "Arlene". And private for the zoo nurse.)

In my opinion I suppose that Private is 15 and/or 16 and that Skipper is about 34. I don't approve of slash pairings of any kind so when I resort to a realationship pretaining to 'Pripper', I simply mean father/son. Which would work because in my theory Private is Skipper's adopted son and the ages work because it's not a slash pairing relationship. The picture I posted DOES NOT mean they 'love-love' each other. I hug my own dad and I'm sure millions of other kids do too. Private's just a boy and he shouldn't be any different. But I'll respect other fan's opinions.

We prefer Pripper. :P

If you guys think Private/Skipper or Rico/Kowalski pairings are weird, then you have not seen completely the Uncommon Pairings Discussion Forum, compared to those different pairings we listed in that forum, the pairings mentioned here are pretty much still tolerable with majority with the fans.

I honestly just find it plain incestuous. As much as Schooley's guess is that Private is 20 and Skipper 35, then we're diverging into paedophilia...I like Skivate or Pripper in the sense of father-son relationship, although it can't be possible because Skipper would've had Private when he was 15 (Underage sex O.O) but he's still the fatherly figure.

I think this pairing is adorable AS A FRIENDSHIP, OR FATHER AND SON OR FELLOW SOLDIER RELATIONSHIP.

Romantic Pripper is just... disturbing... on so many levels...

I don't mind if someone ships Skivate/Pripper and I don't mind if someone doesn't ship it (either in a fatherly/brotherly/friendly/romantic way).

For the most part, I do only ship it in a brotherly/friendly way. However, can I just say that I would totally go down for romantically shipping a non-related Skivate with a smaller age gap? To be honest, when I first saw the recent movie, I started shipping them romantically FOR A FEW DAYS OKAY SO DON'T JUDGE ME. But then, I took a step back and realized that, wait, aren't they brothers?? Also, when I started watching a few episodes of the series and scenes with them from the Madagascar movies, I only saw them in a brotherly light too. I'm just assuming that Skipper calling Private cute and adorable so many times in the movie made me ship them in that way, until, when I thought about it, I realized that Skipper calling Private cute was probably just Skipper being like a father and not wanting Private to grow up.

Also, what made me just see them in a brotherly light too was the fact that on Private's birthday in the movie, Skipper said that it was ten years ago when he hatched - Does that mean Private is 10 years old?? If so, then yeah, I'm definitely just shipping them in a brotherly/friendly way. However, I thought that Private was at least 18!

So, yeah, that's my opinion! I only ship them in brotherly/friendly way now since they are brothers. However, like I said before, if you ship them in a way different from that, then you can do that! But if you write fanfiction with romance between them, make sure that they are at least not related or have a smaller age gap between them in the fic - Because again, I would ship them in a romantic way if they weren't brothers and had a smaller age gap xD

If anyone has a problem with what I just said, let me know and we can talk about it! I don't want to gross anyone out - I hope I didn't by admitting how I would weirdly ship them if they weren't brothers/had a smaller age gap!
