Is Owl City a band or a single singer?

Owl City is basically a single singer named Adam Young, but in some songs a female is heard. This is Breanne Duren, and sometimes he works with one of the singers from Relient K.

Owl City is an American electronica musical project by singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Adam Young.
While Young writes, composes, records, and produces all of Owl City's music, during live performances he is accompanied by a group of supporting musicians:

Breanne Düren – Keyboards, Backing vocals, is also featured on "The Saltwater Room," "Honey and the Bee," and several other songs on Owl City albums.

SINGLE SINGER

I read something on my iPod that he formed this one-man-band cuz a while back he had like insomnia, so at night he messed around with numerous musical instuments and his computer. Eventually i guess he became a Myspace sensation. I'm pretty sure a l'i'l bit after that he formedd his one-man-band.

owl city is a band. at first, it was just adam young, but now theres a pianist, a guitarist, a drummer, a backup singer, and adam, the lead singer.

When I saw him live on June 25th he had a whole band with him. When u look up owl city it may just be him in the pictures but Owl City I'm pretty sure is a band.

Well, if you want to be all technical than he's a singer. But honestly, I call him a band because he's given his project a name, Owl City, rather than simply calling it Adam Young.

Owl City is a band, Adam Young is the lead singer, he is usually the only person that sings but, Who do you thing plays the drums and other background music? (Rhetorical Question don't answer Why would it be named Owl City if it's just Adam Young? We would just call him Adam Young if he was a solo singer.
