Oscar Wilde Question

If you've read The Picture of Dorian Gray, please help me!

I'm making an essay about the book and I wanted to quote an excert, only I can't find it. It is the part he says that when you're asleep you can live in a perfect and fantastic world, and as you wake up and everything around you starts taking form, you have to go back to your routine and go on from where you had stopped yesterday. He says it would be better if each day was independent of the other and we could just star over and do something new every day. If you know the page or at least the chapter please tell me!
