Most powerful OTH scene ever. Still gives me chills <33

this moment is unbelievably amazing!! the music, the flashbacks, the acting...everything. and it's such a vital piece of the OTH puzzle & journey too. simply epic.

i think that the 3x16 brooke speech is a little dramatic, tbh. yes, its a good speech, and she has a point ofcourse. but she's acting as if SHE is one of the people inside the school, scared for her own life or something lol. sure, her boyfriend and friends were inside...but i just think it would have made more sense coming from someone who actually witnessed what went on inside the school first hand. or even from someone like karen, whose SON was inside. and plus, wasn't that speech a deleted scene? so to be fair, I don't really consider it as part of OTH's powerful history, since it never aired and technically wasn't really part of the show :/

TheBoySawAComet.....the Brooke scene was deleted because there wasn't enough air time to fit it in to the episode NOT because it wasn't good.Deleted Scenes do in fact count in this countdown because they were shot and shown to the oth fans even though it wasn't on an aired episode.Thanks so much though for commenting and I do agree that the Abby scene was simply epic. :)

^ oh, I know that it was only cut because of timing. but a deleted scene is still a deleted scene..no matter what the reason for cutting it is. and it's still not part of the actual series, just bonus footage/special features for the DVD sets. so I personally can't, and wouldn't feel right choosing any deleted scenes over scenes that really are part of the show. that's all. but that's just me :D

I understand your point,however,I still feel that deleted scenes shouldn't be shunned especially ones where the actor's performance shines through...so deleted scenes are eligible to be in this countdown but personally for me there isn't even that many stand-out deleted scenes so it shouldn't really be a problem to have them in this countdown. Thanks for telling me about your concern so I can be clear about the rules. I hope you do enjoy the countdown and feel free to vote for the non-deleted scenes if you feel they are better than the deleted scenes..after all this countdown is all based on the fans perspective.

and dansea08- it's not that big of a deal, I wasn't at all saying that deleted scenes should be "shunned". it's your countdown, so ofcourse you can run it however you want. i was just explaining why i personally don't consider any deleted scenes as part of OTH :)

@TheBoySawAComet Yes she wasn't there but "it's not like that I don't carry that day around like everyone else"(or something among these lines).
I believe Brooke's speech was perfect.Why?Because she was one of those people who just didn't care about the guys like Jimmy and maybe treated them in some other way, that's how most popular people are and maybe she felt guilty.
Also Peyton may not be technically family, but for her she was like her sister, she loved her more than even her mother I believe.
Inside was also the boy she loves.

^ right, i believe i already said that I understand her boyfriend, and friends were inside. i get that. but that still doesn't change the fact that I PERSONALLY think all that sounded a little dramatic coming from her. and I have very right to feel that way, its my opinion. plus people get interviewed everyday during tragic events. it sucks, and it may not be something that you feel like talking about, but that's just how the world works. and actually, people are usually eager to get their views, feelings, and sides of the story heard. I think biting the reporters head off like that WAS dramatic, and kind of still would have been even coming from someone inside. but especially coming from someone like brooke. MY OPINION.
