I'm not defending her, cheating was wrong, but I was just thinking about the bond between them - BP called each other best friends. If you were in Brooke's position, would you notice how you friend feels, even if she denied? Brooke knew Peyton like forever, knew her issues with trusting people, letting someone in, fear of people leaving. She knew all about it, and still couldn't see what was obvious: that Peyton has feelings for Lucas, but is too afraid to admit it. If Brooke didn't notice anything, maybe both girls weren't as close as they thought back then...? Because isn't best friend a peron that knows you so well that is able to guide you when you're lost, help you with your own feelings when you're confused, read between the lines, no matter what you say out loud...? PS:I'm sorry if the question has been asked before! I'm absolutely NOT ASKING WHO'S TO BLAME here (I saw such a question befoer), I just want to know if you think that Brooke, as Peyton's friend, shoud have known/could have guess/wasn't given a chance to know about Peyton's feelings toward Luke when Peyton denied it. Brooke for going after Lucas when it was kinda obvious that there is something between him and Peyton. And Lucas for going after best friend of the girl he's in love with.
