One Tree Hill Did anyone else wonder why the nurse asked Dan if he was the Reverend's family when the Rev was black??

It made sense to me because nurses and doctors have to ask that question. And you don't have to have the same skin-tone to be related to someone. It didn't even have to be blood-related, he could have been in in-law or part of a step family.

And while I was watching that particular scene, I was more worried that Dan was going to kill the Reverend.

it made sense to me, just because they don't look alike doesn't mean they aren't related....besides i think nurses have to ask that...especially considering the guy is dying and he's probably only allowed visits from family members.

You'd be surprised how many biracial families there are - sometimes its really hard to tell...as a nurse, yes we have to ask, although we can be lenient about visiting hours (especially with palliative clients)
