This scene just did not translate for me lol. First of all, why was it CLAY that initially got so mad, and pushed him off the bridge? Between him, Nathan, and Julian, he was the one who should have been the LEAST mad about the situation. He really had no relevance at all to the incident, really.

Secondly, the whole "domino effect" of the guys attacking Ian afterwards was just weird to me. It felt out of place, like it came out of no where, and just a little over the top. The scene was good, realistic, mature, and powerful... until they all hit the water. All of those guys are better than that. Yell at Ian all you want, lecture him about how what he did was wrong, turn the asshole in to the police for what he did, hell maybe even punch him once... but tackling him over the bridge, and holding his head underwater? Come on. They just seemed like bunch of bullies, and at this point it was really OOC for all of them.

They didn't handle it that way when they thought it was professor Kellerman who did it... so why go to those extremes with Ian? It really just didn't make much sense to me.

Well I must agree it was odd that it was Clay who didf the pushing but I was super GLAD to see Julian and Nathan got in a bit of pushing him around but really I think in the end it should have been more of a Julian/ Nathan thing Clay could of stayed out of it. However odd this may sound I kinda understand why it played out the way it did. I can see why they had the guys go after Ian. He was there the whole time and KNEW it was not his father and in the end that was what pissed off all the guys the way it did, Clay has Nathan's back and Jamie is like family so it over took him to. Julian well as OOC it was for him to hold Ian under the water I saw it coming the boy snaped and with Nathan punching him well for a moment I had a small flashback to Chris Keller and I laughed becuse it was a tiny slice of the old Nathan the one who doesn't think and just acted. In the end actually liked it a lot.

I actually really liked it. It showed that Clay really cares about Brooke & Jamie as well as Nathan & Julian do. In a different way of course, but still.
