	mooshka picked Yes the actor/actress and the character are not the same!: I'm just curiouse. It just really bugs me when people start to insult an actor/actress just because they hate the character. I've seen this happen a lot with Bethany Joy Galeotti. A lot of people insult her because they don't like Haley and a lot of cruel things are said. I've also seen it happen with Hilarie Burton a couple of times... posted over a year ago.

Although I don't like Haley, and I also don't care for Bethany Joy Galeotti. But the two aren't connected at all. I have my own reasons for not liking BJG, because of my own personal experiences with her (yes, personal experiences!) posted over a year ago.

For example I simply like Peyton (loved her in some seasons , hated her in others) , but I LOVE Hilarie. posted over a year ago.

But her acting is fair game because its the way she portrays her character to the audience.Sometimes when people get so invested into a show/couple/character they lose sight of reality and fantasy and instead blend them together.Thankfully I haven't seen too many OTH fans bash actors at least not as much as I've seen from other shows. posted over a year ago. last edited over a year ago

You can judge an actor/actress about how well he/she acts or how he is in interviews and stuff like that. But you cant judge him for a character that he/she portrays... It is not reasonable... Also I love Hilarie although I am not a Peyton fan! :) posted over a year ago.

I'd say ESPECIALLY with Hilarie. It's kind of interesting though, because watching OTH over the years and how things have changed, I definitely feel like somethings offscreen easily affect things onscreen. posted over a year ago.
