As much as I dislike BL, and believe that Lucas also brought out a low side of Brooke at times... there's no denying that he definitely had a role in changing her for the better. There's a clear difference in who she was before Lucas, and who she turned into while dating, and after Lucas. He tought her how to truly care about people, and "give a rats ass" for the first time lol. And he helped her (somewhat) shed the shallow, party girl image that she was always known for. He also reassured her that while most people wouldn't believe in her, he would. When everyone else was simply thinking of her as a slut, he was telling her that she could "change the world".

But I think she really took those comments from Lucas to heart, and because of that... she believed in herself a little bit more, she wanted to live up to those expectations, she grew up, and matured in a sense.

Not to mention that it was also after her split with him that she first started her designing career... and things obviously went up hill from there!

Even if they didn't end up together , their relationship made Brooke the person she is now.

Everything Kelly said lol He helped her grow relationship wise but mainly and more importantly as a person. Because she wouldn't have made it through a couple of days without him.

As much as I strongly dislike them, Kelly does have a HUGE point!
