As soon as Jeyton happened, I had this immediate impression of "oh... so this is who Mark is shoving Peyton with, since Lucas is temporarily unavailable for her. Wonder how long this will last, before she's back with Lucas, who she's supposed to be with." I knew from the start of Jeyton, that they were just going to be a filler couple, and that they would get swept under the rug later on down the road.. for the sake of LP's inevitable reunion. So while I did think (to some extent) that Jake was good for Peyton, what they had was never strong enough for me to forget about her instant connection to Lucas, and to overshadow my opinion of her and Lucas belonging together. 	abs07 picked Leyton all the way <3: Sure Jake was a bit of a filler, but I think he was also an opportunity for Peyton to fall in love again and see if she was content moving on from her first love or not. Peyton was supposedly ready to marry this guy, so he was almost her test. Ultimately, Jake was an aid for Peyton. He helped her realize who she loved and always would love. So I appreciate what Jake did - Lindsey did the same for Lucas in season 5. He was ready to marry her, and he FAILED his test, cause even after everything Lindsey told Luke at the wedding, he still chased after her like a emotionally retarded little fool. But eventually, Luke accepted who he loved and always would love as well :P Ok, done! :D posted over a year ago.

	abs07 picked Leyton all the way <3: If you believe in destiny then I think we're on the same page. Accepting that you're meant to be with someone for me, is accepting your destiny. There's no forcing of anything. Luke fought his feelings for Peyton time and time again - when he was with any other girl he claimed to love. He was afraid of his feelings and afraid to get hurt again, so he was in denial a lot of the time. So Luke accepting his destiny (S4/S6) is effectively accepting his feelings. It's not like I'm talking about arranged marriages or anything :) posted over a year ago.
