I don't know it just seems like there are a million refrences to the Leyton/Brucas love triangle. The thing with Quinn talking on the stage and everyone quite just staring at her reminded me of Karen at the haloween party. Quinn dancing at the cheerleading try outs reminded me of Brooke dancing at the Sparkle competion. Nate and Clay lost in the woods was like Chris and Nate in the woods and there is a lot more.

I think it's great because what made OTH amazing was its high school years....so of course they should have references to the past. As for the Leyton/Brucas triangle references...well duh....it was the biggest love triangle on the show...(till this day) So I would think that fans who have been watching for years(even going back as far as the Pilot) would like the references.

I think mark is listening to the fans, and is just trying to make a desperate attempt at making it feel as much like the "old" OTH as possible... by referring to the earlier seasons as much as he can. It seems like he's still trying to keep that version of the show alive in SOME way. I think he just wants to remind and reassure us that this IS the same show that it used to be.

I'm personally getting annoyed by all the Leyton/Brucas triangle talk. That was YEARS ago to these people. they've all gown up and moved on since then, two of the people involved have gotten married and had a baby, and Brooke has her own new life and issues with new guys now. Realistically, there is just no way that a high school love triangle would still be playing this big of a part in these peoples' lives these days, or would still be being talked about this much lol. Doesn't make much sense to me

Yeah, I agree with Kelly. While I'm glad we're getting BL throwbacks, that won't change a thing since in s4 you totally made Brooke head cheerleader of the LP squad you dickhead! It just makes me depressed and miss OLD OTH more.

I love all the references, now all we need is to have some Naley ones brought back (tattoo, rain, etc.)!!

It makes me miss old OTH, but i'm happy they are talking about it. =]
