leyton-true love always!!!!the most epic couple ever!!!

Obviously naley are a significant couple because they've been together for so long... but for some reason, I don't consider them as "epic". I think Leyton has had more epic MOMENTS, and a more epic history than any other couple in the show

Between this 3 couples, i think it's obvious.
Naley always knew they loved eachother and wanted to be with together. And things weren't always easy for them, but they fought againts that. Unlike Leyton.

And it's too soon to call Brulian epic.

LP are the definition of epic! Even in brookes words, they are an "epic, kickass love story" :)

sure naley have been together the longest, but in my opinion, their history and overall relationship has been pretty boring, as far as epicness goes. They don't have all of the quotes, metaphors, and generally epic moments that Leyton have (in my opinion anyway). To me, whether or not a couple is epic doesn't necessarily have anything to do with how long they have been together... It has to do with the memorable, and significant moments they share while they're together. And I think LP has more of that than naley does

^ ok first of all, I said IN MY OPINION... so there's no need to argue with me about this, it's just what I think and I never said you had to agree. And I stand by my opinion. All that naley really have is "always and forever", purple flowers, and a bracelet. As opposed to ALL of the quotes (that I'm not about to list), the comet, the 2 books, and the moments that LP have. I'm not saying that naley aren't a great or important couple, but there's a difference between that and "epic". To me Leyton definitely have more "epic" aspects to their relationship than naley does. I guess it's a good think Mark LOVES Leyton and tries the harder he can to trow them at everybody. I can't fight with you on that one. But on the other hand, i'm just really glad my favorite couples don't have "You were my Angel" lines.

and naley. they are epic. they fell in love, even though they "weren't ment to". they got married in high school and neverthought it would work, so they almost got a divorse, but made their way through that. and if that's not enough, nathan loved haley so much that he almost killed himself for her and he proposed to her a second time just so she could get the wedding and the fresh start she'd always wanted!
naley isn't just purple flowers, bracelet and "always and forever". imo they're the most importand couple on the show and you can't call another coule that's on the show more epic than naley. not leyton. not brucas. not jeyton (can't belive i just said that!!). not brulian. NO COUPLE! 'cause none of those have been through nearly as much as naley has!

Yes the first book included other parts of Lucas' life too... but it was acknowledged by multiple characters as being a love story about Lucas and Peyton, and it's been made perfectly clear that LP were a HUGE (if not the biggest) focus of the book. Do these quotes sound familiar to you?

thats funny... because with the whole "pick one" scene, i'm pretty sure that after lucas picked peyton, he also said "i guess I ALWAYS KNEW". he knew that he loved Peyton, he was just hesitant to admit it, because peyton hurt him so much the first time by not saying yes to his first proposal. he didn't need anyone to tell him that he loved her, he clearly already did because he had already written the comet about her. he just needed that push to finally let his gaurd down and be with her. he never needs people to help him realize that he loves peyton, he just needs that push and reassurance to let him know that its okay to be with her. the same thing with brooke at the state championship. its not like lucas realized he loved peyton JUST because brooke "pushed them together". he clearly just didn't want to hurt brooke again, so he needed to wait until brooke gave him the "ok" before he admitted his feelings for peyton

Yea, we totally had this epic kickass love story that no one stood a chance against...but for some reason I often fell in love with other people.

Who knows maybe one day we'll have a over the phone proposal and we'll fly to vegas, almost get married and then come home and have lots of sex until she's pregnant...we'll even throw in the pregnancy issues to make the coming wedding so much more epic, yea?

the majority of people love more than one person in their lifetime. that's normal. that doesn't make a couple any less epic, just because they have loved other people along the way. MOST epic couples do love other people at one point or another. that has nothing to do with their relationship and their epic moments with eachother, WHILE THEY WERE TOGETHER

I don't know how Leyton is epic, in s1 they cheated, in s2 they barely interacted, in s3 we knew their friendship was just a set up for s4, in s4 they made me cringe and gag, in s5 they cheated again and Peyton acted like an obsessed ex-gf who can't move on, in s6 they got married and had a baby. If people think Leyton is epic because of the "obstacles" (I know that's Brooke and Lindsey for you) that they were able to overcome, that's kinda petty IMO. That isn't impressive. It's true Lucas always saved Peyton but that's because Lucas always saves people. So how are they epic?

Lucas saved Dan because she pulled him out of the dealership fire, and Lucas saved Peyton because he took her out from the school shooting. That's your logic. And IMO no one saved Brooke from her s6 attack, sure they were there, Nathan was so random, Haley gave her counselor's number. I never denied that Peyton was there for Brooke, I said that Peyton WAS there for her. I said that Lucas wasn't... which is true. And I didn't say that to bring BL into this. I love all three couples but in my opinion Leyton are the most epic to me though all these arguments are kinda useless considering....the question is basically asking who's love story do YOU think surpasses the rest and it can depend on the length of their love story....what significant and pivotal moments occurred...how it ended or how it continued....or how it made you feel.

Of course there will be differences in opinion...not everybody loves the same thing or perceives stories the same way which comes to another issue...in order to make this question fair.. other couples should have been added including Jeyton and Brucas. UNLESS the question was meant to be asked as "Which is the most epic couple out of my three favorite OTH couples?"

Also for me an "EPIC" couple doesn't necessarily mean they have to still be together .It's what made their love story unique and beautiful that makes it epic for me and arguing about why the couple you chose is the most "EPIC" couple won't change other people's choices about who they chose as their most epic couple!

In my opinion Naley is more epic, I think Mark has done a nice job at throwing Leyton scenes/moments in our face to make them seem that way like for example that whole collage of scenes at Naley's rehearsal dinner, alot of the moments they showed were Lucas being a good friend to Peyton, another thing I don't belive she's always been in love with him and I don't think she's always been in love with her. Lucas was very much in love with Brooke in season 3, and Peyton was very much in love with Jake in season 2&3, so it hasn't always been Leyton! Naley have been through everything and anything and have made it through it all, it's not just about the time together, it's about dealing with tough times and heartache and still being there for one another, they are eachothers rock and I would call that epic, but again thats just my opinion.

Well i think with this question you have to accept epic within the confines of "One Tree Hill" a teen drama show. Then obviously "epic" also comes down to opinion as for example - i don't really find Romeo and Juliet epic although you do 1treehill fan.

I love both Naley & Leyton.
But if I have to talk about Naley I would never use the epic, I would use the word CLASSIC. They are the fairytale story IMO, the good girl meet the bad boy & he change for her love (ie. A walk to remember). They’ve been together through all the series, had their ups & downs but always said together. I LOVE THEM but sometimes I tend to forget their story. Maybe because, in my eyes, they had to face everyday problems to be together. It has nothing to do with the time they’ve been together, you know the TITANIC is only 3hrs long but the love story between Jake & Rose is epic for me. When I see Naley it’s like I am seeing a story I’ve already seen before. The details change but the concept will always remain the same. They are the stable couple of the show, which manage to get through problems together, stay always together etc.. they faced parents who wanted them to separated, drug problems, pregnancy and young marriage but THESE are problems most couple face. Even my parents married at 18 because my mum was having a baby, they had their problems (financially & emotionally), they almost separated because of cheating but they managed to find their way back to each other BUT I don’t call them epic.

Leyton, on the other hand, it’s not the classic fairytale and it’s unique. They had to face problems psychos, bullet wounds, love triangles, almost marriages, distance etc.. They are the kind of story one remember. They are the couple that can beat all odds, that no matter how hard and desperate the situation seems they will always find a way to each other. But besides all this, they have quotes & moments worth remembering, moments which are pivotal and significant. I’m not saying Naley doesn’t but compared to Leyton I think they have less that’s all. Both ARE beautiful and amazing love stories but as epicness I choose LEYTON. And I don’t care how cheesy their moments are or how surreal they might be. It has always been Lucas & Peyton.
